Centre Avenue Y.M.C.A.
The Y.M.C.A. on Centre Avenue was built in 1922 as the first Y.M.C.A. for African Americans in Pittsburgh. It was founded in 1883 and was officially chartered in 1910. Many Urban League activities were held here. The YMCA closed its operations in the facility in the late 2000s.
